Lifting Gear Inspection (LGI)

Lifting Gear inspections are conducted in order to meet the requirements of Federal, Provincial and Industrial Regulations, including Canadian and North Sea Offshore standards. There are numerous Codes & Standards in place governing lifting gear inspection, with different requirements depending on the application. These regulations are constantly being reviewed in order to maintain the compliance of each client inspection program.


LIFTING GEAR INSPECTION & RE-CERTIFICATION

Sling inspections are conducted by qualified personnel who can identify potential problems, encourage proper handling and storage, assist with inventory control and ensure compliance with safety standards. A written inspection report is provided following each inspection. Working Load Limit wall charts, pocket cards, videos and a variety of other aids are available to supplement your lifting program.

With extensive testing facilities, highly trained and experienced staff we are able to both visually inspect and physically test most equipment and installations to the requirements of the appropriate legislation.

Our on-site testing & inspection service has been developed and streamlined to enable us to offer our customers a one stop premier service. Our external service engineers have many years experience in the field, and are adept at overcoming problems encountered on site.

We assemble chain and wire rope slings to customer's requirements and undertake the design and fabrication of specialist lifting equipment and installations such as mobile gantries, spreader beams and swing jibs.
